- Principles of Engineering: Worked with a team to design a hand-held, 12-button USB HID class keyboard with predictive text capabilities, project website.
- Engineering capstone: Part of an NSF-sponsored project to build a specialized microscope for microfluidics research; responsible for LabVIEW user interface and motor control
- Research Project: Developing algorithms in MATLAB to find optimal non-conflicting class schedules based on student preferences, poster.

- Developing custom web applications in PHP to support the center's Masters Degree program in Homeland Security. Working with faculty to implement new website features. (November 2010 - present)
Central and Northern California Ocean Observing System – Moss Landing, CA
- Developing a statistical method for forecasting phytoplankton blooms in the Humboldt Bay of California (July-October 2010)
Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute – Moss Landing, CA
- Designed and developed for jellywatch.org, a site for collecting jellyfish population data. Wrote custom Google map applets and extensively developed a custom Drupal theme. Poster was presented at 2010 AGU Ocean Sciences meeting. Current web administrator. (Summer 2009)
Mote Marine Laboratory – Sarasota, FL
- Researched a new method of optically differentiating cyanobacterial species. Results were be presented at 2008 American Geophysical Union conference. For more details, see my poster. (Summer 2008)
Olin College – Needham, MA
- Worked in the Admission office, organizing credentials sent in by prospective students and giving campus tours. Designed a restaurant map for campus visitors. (October 2006 – Present)
